Agadir was completely rebuilt after an earthquake destroyed the town in 1960. The result is a well thought-out, low-rise city, with green open squares and wide, palm-lined avenues. The resort is in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, and fronted by a huge crescent of sand, which unravels for some nine kilometres along the Atlantic shores.

Set near Agadir’s bustling promenade and golden beaches, this contemporary hotel is a short walk from the marina, where you can take boat tours or relax in waterfront cafés. The vibrant Souk El Had, filled with local crafts and spices, is also close by.
